My Favorite Type of Blanket
Blankets, comforters, throws, etc. are all crucial to enjoy a good night's sleep or a Sunday afternoon nap. Admit it: you can't sleep as well when you're not at home in your bed with your blanket. Maybe it's the texture or maybe it's the weight or maybe it's the smell! But I think we can all agree that a blanket can made a big difference when sleeping and sleeping without a blanket just doesn't feel right.
There are many kinds of blankets made of many different materials. In fact, I have three different kinds on my bed at this moment (that's a blog post for another day)! However, my all-time favorite type of blanket is the 'Towel Blanket'. A towel blanket is generally a thin blanket that is extremely soft like, you guessed it, a towel. It often comes in interesting colors and patterns, never matching any of your bedding. However, it is the softest blanket ever. Because it is thin, it is used mostly in the summer time when you need something to cuddle under, but not a big, thick comforter. Towel blankets can also be used as an added layer to your usual comforter for extra comfort (haha!) and warmth.
So, next time you need a really good night's sleep, grab a towel blanket. They're totally awesome and they make a world of difference! :)
